What yarn or cord do you recommend?

I love Bobbiny recycled cotton cord — it’s strong, eco-friendly, and comes in gorgeous colours inspired by nature. It’s perfect for baskets, bags, and homeware.

Can I request a custom crochet design?

Yes! We love creating bespoke pieces tailored to your style and needs.

How do I care for my crochet item?

Hand wash gently in cold water and lay flat to dry to maintain softness and shape.

Can I use any yarn for your patterns?

Yes! Most patterns are adaptable. If you swap yarn types, your project may turn out a different size or texture, but that’s part of the fun.

I’m brand new to crochet — where should I start?

Start simple! A coaster or small basket is perfect for beginners. You’ll learn the basic stitches and get a quick win. I also share beginner-friendly patterns and tips in the Cornish Knot Circle.

What tools do I need for crochet?

All you need to begin is a crochet hook, some yarn (or cord), and a pair of scissors. A yarn needle for weaving in ends is handy too. That’s it — no big kit required.

What size hook should I use?

It depends on the yarn or cord. For Bobbiny cord (my favourite), a 6–8mm hook works well. For softer yarns, check the yarn label — it usually suggests the best hook size.

Can I ask for help if I get stuck?

Absolutely. You can message me through the Contact page or join the community on Instagram/Facebook. Sharing questions (and wins!) is what makes this community special.
