About Cornish Knot Co – Handmade Crochet in Cornwall

Meet the Maker

Made in Cornwall. Inspired by calm. Stitched with care.

Hi, I’m Sarah — a crochet enthusiast, proud Cornish resident, avid bird watcher, and devoted tea lover. At Cornish Knot Company, I transform soft, sustainable cords into stunning, practical creations — crafting each piece with care and intention, one mindful stitch at a time.
Come on in — let’s make something lovely together.

Sarah, The owner and maker

Small-Batch, Handmade, and Coastal-Inspired

I make practical, beautiful pieces using soft, sustainable cords.

Think baskets, bags, and tactile homeware — all in earthy, coastal tones. Each piece is stitched slowly, intentionally, and always in small batches.

Coasters

My First Make

These little coasters were where it all began, my very first crochet project.
Simple, slightly wonky, but full of heart. They taught me the rhythm of the hook and gave me the confidence to keep going.

Summer Tote Bag

My First Bag

Hooked & Happy

This was my first ever crochet bag, and I absolutely loved making it.
From shaping the base to adding the handles, every step felt like a little victory.

Chunky Crochet Basket.

Basket

Bold & Chunky

This one felt like a milestone, big, sturdy, and full of character. With a thicker cord and growing confidence, I created a chunky basket that actually looked (and felt) like something I’d buy myself.

Heart Pot Holder

Officially a Maker

This was a turning point, not just because the stitches were neat and the shape held, but because I added my very own Cornish Knot Co. tag for the first time.

More Than Just Crochet

Some of the things that matter to me

Cornish Knot Co. is about slowing down, making with meaning, and adding a bit of joy to the everyday. Whether you’re here to get ideas or feel inspired to pick up a hook, I’m so glad you’ve found your way here.

My Garden

Life Outside the Loops

When I’m not crocheting, I’m in the garden, cooking something warming, or watching birds in the hedgerow. Nature, rhythm, and connection are at the heart of everything I make.
